Joseph Friis holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology and Hydrology from UC Davis (2004), with a focus on sustainable forestry and water management. His career reflects a strong foundation in environmental stewardship and operational innovation, with early roles at the USDA Forest Service and the University of California, Davis, followed by leadership positions in fundraising organizations and at Blue Apron. In parallel, Joseph built a successful real estate LLC, acquiring and managing commercial properties in California and Washington.
In 2016, Joseph entered the hemp and cannabis sector, co-founding Wohleb Scientific to pioneer and patent a sustainable water-based extraction process—setting a new benchmark for purity and efficiency in the industry. Building on this success, he co-founded Low Gravity, LLC in 2022 alongside Andrew Seagrave, with a vision of creating a global leader in hemp-derived ingredients manufacturing.
Joseph’s leadership emphasizes environmental consciousness, sustainability, and innovation, driving the adoption of safe, efficient, and future-ready manufacturing practices in an industry historically hampered by inefficiency and risk. Andrew Seagrave
Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder
Andrew Seagrave brings over 13 years of experience in the wine industry, where he developed deep expertise in cultivation, post-production processes, and sales, earning recognition as a Certified Sommelier. His transition into the hemp industry in 2014 showcased his adaptability and entrepreneurial vision, quickly establishing himself as a leader in both retail and wholesale markets.
Andrew’s background spans retail product representation, bulk sales, and in recent years, the leadership of large-scale kief and flower production operations for international export. His ability to navigate both regulated consumer markets and high-volume global trade has positioned him as a versatile and highly effective executive.
As Co-Founder and CEO of Low Gravity, Andrew has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategic direction, scaling operational infrastructure, and forging partnerships that have accelerated growth. His combination of technical product knowledge, sales acumen, and operational leadership continues to drive Low Gravity’s expansion as a premier provider of hemp-derived ingredients to domestic and global markets.
Stephanie Curran

With over 15 years of distinguished experience as a Corporate Consultant and Operations Executive, Stephanie Curran brings a depth of expertise across operations, management, infrastructure development, sales, and marketing. Her career spans multiple sectors—including medical, health & wellness, hemp agriculture, manufacturing, and product development—where she has consistently delivered measurable growth and operational excellence.
Stephanie has contributed to the launch and success of 47 startups and more than 1,500 medical practices, with a proven record of two successful builds with exits, one acquisition, and one merger. This breadth of experience uniquely equips her to align strategy with execution, consistently deploying scalable systems that generate revenue growth and unlock organizational value.
Her leadership is characterized by a natural ability to inspire teams, streamline operations, and maximize resources. She is widely recognized for driving compliance in regulated industries, maintaining a rigorous operational framework while sustaining a “whatever it takes” mindset to achieve ambitious goals.
